Ermita de Nieve Cosecha is a delicious, 100% Verdejo. While the verdejo grape is known for its intense tropical and melon like flavors, this particular bottling comes from vineyards closer towards Segovia, whose terroir yields a wine that is a bit more reserved, with fresh grapefruit flavors and a hint of melon rind. A very mineral style of verdejo, from vines ranging in age from 60 years to 100 year, franc pied (ungrafted) vines. This is very classy, distinctive white wine.
