The winery’s philosophy has always been to maintain the quality and style that it is recognized for, while at the same time improve the methods for growing grapes and crafting wines to reflect the experience and knowledge accumulated and have been throughout the winery's 125-year history. Long ago Simi a realized the importance of Alexander Valley and knew that it would be a leading appellation for growing Bordeaux varietals. Today it showcase the region with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as well as vineyard-designated Landslide Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting notes

Excellent balance, luscious fruit flavors and a long, elegant finish. Fully ripe and flavorful fruit with superb concentration and balance. Lively on the palate with green apple, stone fruit and light citrus, accented by cream and spice notes.
