Conundrum was born from a core idea to create a dramatically different wine blend that would surpass the scope of single varietal wines. From the very first vintage in 1989 the goal was to make the wine’s complexity appealing to both red and white drinkers. Conundrum is owned by Caymus Vineyards, but stands on its own separate brand.
The winemaker is Jon Bolta. He acquired his skills in a very direct way, learning on the job. He joined Caymus in 1983 and continues to focus on his goal, to improve and evolve the quality of his wine which he coincides outside the typical parameters of white wine. He believes the 5 grapes varietals used to make Conundrum White shows his great creativity.

| Powerful aromas of green apple, tangerine zest and honeysuckle. Core flavors of apricot, melon, pear and light vanilla are beautifully balanced by the sparkling acidity of cirtus fruits.
