Gilles Dupuch's family has run Chateau Sainte Marie since 1956. Gilles took over in 1982 and started transitioning the viticulture over to organic and biodynamic farming. When his son Stephanie resumed the property in 1997 sustainable agriculture was completed. They now have Terra Vitis Certification and since September 2008 have received organic farming certification.
