The Equren family has been dedicated to grape growing since 1870. The medieval town of Laguardia by the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountain range is an outstanding site chosen by farmers ever since the Neolithic times due to its exceptional climatic and geological characteristics. Here, amongst archaeological remainders, ancient hermitages and churches, lies Vinedos De Paganos, where the soil lends the vineyard and therefore the wine a unique mineral character with an extraordinary personality. The wines, which originate from the vineyards surrounding the winery, express the single characteristics of this enclave, of the soil and of the perfect adaptation of the Tempranillo variety.
