Graham Beck Wines is a family run winery that is now in its third generation. The vineyards are located on 4 different farms within the western cape of South Africa and they practice award winning biodiversity techniques. They use environmentally friendly pest and disease control methods. The vineyard also concentrates on conservation of many rare and endangered species in the area. One of the rare plants on the farm is called the Haworthic Maraisii which is a type of aloe that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Winemaker, Erika Obermeyer grew up on a farm in Sutherland, South Africa and has always had a love for nature. While going to get her Bachelor's degree at Stellenbosch she went on her first wine tour. As soon as she entered the cellar she fell in love with wine and knew that's what she wanted to spend the rest of her life making.
Irene Waller first went to school to be an accountant and then decided to become a teacher. She took a course at the Cape Wine Academy and that's where her passion for wine developed. She quit her teaching job and travelled overseas where she participated in harvests. She went back to school at the University of
