Review: So far this is my favorite dessert wine: 49% Riesling and 51% Gewurztraminer. It is not as sweet as other dessert wines, it is actually quite crisp. It is not as creamy as i thought it would be. A lot of honey on the nose. Riesling drinkers will appreciate it! This could become a nice little treat after dinner.

Marino Selak moved from Croatia to New Zealand in 1906 and bought land for a market garden, orchard and vineyard. Marino's nephew, Mate Selak and eventually Mate's son toll over the winery and turned it into a modern style. Darrell Woolley has been Selak's winemaker for 20years. All the grapes are hand harvested and barrel fermented from a single vineyard.
