Px 750ML 2008
Sku: 6445

During Passion Vines trip to Chile, Michael had the unique experience of helping design the label for this product. The golden color of the PX reflects the color of the wine. The wine will be a special feature for the summer at Passion Vines and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Wine maker notes
One of the oldest grapes varieties in Chile is Pedro Ximenez.

Originally introduced and developed in the north of Chile for producing Pisco.

Extremely rustic, it has survived to the very extreme conditions of soils and temperature with an extraordinary generosity, providing grapes with hard skin, great perfume and succulent juice.

Cucao Pedro Ximenez is a unique wine from the Elqui valley. Delivers freshness and fruitiness with a very well balanced acidity and fruit concentration.

All vinification was done in stainless steel tanks to preserve its flavors and aromas.

Ideal to be served as an aperitif or with sea food.

I am quite the picky white wine drinker and at first, quite skeptical of this wine, but I ended up enjoying the whole bottle over the course of a few days...it was lovely! I drank this alone but believe it would be lovely with a nice flavorful chicken of sea dish! It is very dry, acidic and powerful in the palate!

This is a pretty nice white wine, i would not drink it on its own though because it is a little acidic and heavy, its aromas remind me of a sauvignon blanc: a little citrus and green apple. It would go great with any seafood. This is an interesting grape variety that you probably have never had before. Organic wine, too!
