There could not be great wine without great terroir. Domaine La Barroche has been passed through the family for generations since the 14th Century. The name first appeared when Alexandre Barrot purchased his first plot of land. Earh Christian acquired the Domaine in 1972. He expanded the modestly sided estate by reconstructing the vineyard and buying new plots throughout the appellation. Passionate about the terroir and vines, he focused all his efforts on viticultuure. In 2002, his son Julien Barrot joined the team. This wine titled “Signature” is Julien’s signature mark on the Domaine. Importer: Fleet Street

Ample core of boysenberry, blackberry and braised fig fruit flavors laced with dark licorice. The long grippy finish lete crème de cassis and plum sauce notes sail on…Rather fruit centric now, but has the stuffing to develop further. Drink 2010 – 2027
