On the palate, the wine is both concentrated and weightless, with ripe, mouth filling, sweet black cherries and plums it is crowned by ripe tannins. Perfect fruit acidity carries the flavors through an elegant, long-lasting finish. Decant it for a little while and give it time after you pour and you will be rewarded with a burst of flavors. Guy Constantin and his Chateau Guittot-Fellonneau are keepers of classic Bordeaux tradition. His estate, just outside of Margaux in Macau holds the promise of a time gone by.
