Guy Constantin and his Chateau Guittot-Fellonneau are keepers of classic Bordeaux tradition. His estate, just outside of
Margaux in Macau holds the promise of a time gone by. The four hectares of vines are planted on nearly identical fine gravel to much
of Margaux. The wine is produced in an uncompromising manner. Guy is staying true to traditional vinification. with little
if any new oak being used and a firm substance on varietal expression and the difficult, unyielding nature of Bordeaux, Chateau Guittot
-Fellonneau makes outsanding wines that are able to stand-out even among it's neighbors in Margau

| Tasting notes |
| the wine has a deep brick red color, with hints of purple at the edge. The aroma is complex and vibrant. It develops slowly with ripe black currants, walnuts, tobacco, and violets. On the palate, the wine is both concentrated and weightless, with ripe, mouth filling, sweet black cherries and plums it is crowned by ripe tannins. Perfect fruit acidity carries the flavors through an elegant, long-lasting finish. Decant it for a little while and give it time after you pour and you will be rewarded with a burst of flavors. Drink now – 2025. |
