Homestead is our version of the homemade red wines many of the local people still produce in their garages and basements. It is a blend of native Americans, including Ives and Fredonia, with Cabernet Franc and other vinifera added. This is very popular in our tasting room, being a semi-sweet, fruity red, in which acidity and sweetness are well-balanced.
This wine has received a medal in every competition entered since 2002 for over 10 awards.
