In 1978, veterinarian Dr. Kent Rosenblum and his wife Kathy founded Rosenblum Cellars. Over the years Rosenblum has been hailed as one of the top American wineries and called a mecca for zin-fanatics. Embodying nearly three decades of winemaking tradition, Rosenblum has evolved from a passionate home-winemaking operation into a world-class winery. Disirie Chocolate Dessert Wine is a powerfull blend of 58% Zinfandel, 20% Touriga Nacional,18% Syrah, 4% Brandy. To produce this wine, a selection of fortified wines from different regions and different vintages were evaluated. The blend that combined the most intense and most chocolate characteristics was chosen. Rosenblum has special liquid chocolate syrup that is put together in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the winery that will coalesce with the blended wine to enhance the flavors of chocolate, coconut and vanilla in the wine that is already geared for being a great chocolate experience.
