Each vineyard adds its own complexities to the wine resulting in a balanced blend exhibiting flavors of pomegranate and black cherries. ? The winemaker, Alison Crowe, ferments this Russian River Valley Pinot Noir at low temperatures to extract the delicate flavors.
In 2008, Green Valley and Oak Meadow Vineyards were the home of our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The vineyards get warm days and cool foggy nights which develops rich flavors while maintaining the bright acids that make Pinot Noir so useful with food. Our winemaker will walk each block of the vineyard, selecting the best quality fruit in these two vineyards to enable the best possible blend.
