Spring has finally arrived! I am grateful for longer days and warmer sun, and I look forward with hope to all the gifts this season has to offer. In this week’s article, I’ll share some information on a few of our upcoming tastings, along with some notes on my favorite wines of the moment. As I reflect on the challenges of the last two years, I am grateful that we have been able to return to our schedule of in-store tasting events, and share our passion for wine, whiskey, and cocktails with our guests. We recently launched the following April events, and seats will likely fill up quickly. View our events schedule here. Click here to read the full article at Shore Local Newsmagazine.
What I’m Drinking Now: Clay Shannon Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 This flavorful California Cab is made from grapes sourced from Napa and Lake Counties. Napa contributes earthy tones and notes of dried herbs, while Lake County offers bright fruit, spice, and texture. Enjoy with filet, prime rib, or an aged gouda. Jean-Jacques Vincent Pouilly-Fuisse Marie Antoinette 2018 This fresh, bright Chardonnay is fermented primarily in stainless steel, with only 25% of the wine seeing oak. The nose offers touches of stone fruit and vanilla, and the palate is vibrant with apple, peach, and refreshing acidity. Pair with sushi or goat cheese. |
