The Domaine Clo is located in the Saumur area of the Loire Valley and consists of multiple small plots spread out along some of the regions most prestigious appellations. The vineyard has been in the Leau family for 100 years and Cyril, the current owner and winemaker, converted his production to organic in 2017.
WINEMAKING The cool temperatures of the region during the harvest season allow Cyril to pick his Gamay with a lot of freshness and acidity. By pressing the grapes as soon as picked and fermenting them at low temperatures, the wine produced has an explosion of exotic fruit flavors and minerality.
TASTING NOTES This Gamay Rosé, with its shiny rose-colored robe, expresses crisp candy-like flavors. Great freshness and nice volume on the palate with hints of grapefruit and other exotic fruits. This wine will be your ideal aperitif companion!
